By accessing or using On The Green ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

On The Green is a golf scoring and handicap tracking application that allows users to:

  • Record golf scores and statistics
  • Track handicap index
  • Participate in tournaments
  • Connect with other golfers

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information
  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

Basic features are available free of charge with limitations as described on our pricing page.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Premium features require a paid subscription. Plans are billed monthly or annually in Australian dollars (AUD) and automatically renew unless cancelled. Paid web subscriptions include a 14-day free trial; cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

4.3 Refunds and Cancellations

You may cancel during your free trial without charge. After your first payment on the web, you may request a refund review within 14 days of that payment from your billing dashboard. Mobile subscriptions follow Apple App Store or Google Play refund policies.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (scores, notes, photos). By using the Service, you grant us a license to use this content to provide the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Impersonate others
  • Submit false information
  • Interfere with the Service's operation
  • Access others' accounts without permission

7. Handicap Calculations

While we strive to implement World Handicap System calculations accurately, On The Green handicaps are for informational purposes only and may not be official handicaps recognized by golf associations.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ON THE GREEN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria, Australia.
